We have developed and are now standardizing a neuropsychological assessment instrument in multiple languages for worldwide use. This infrastructure will circumvent reliance on for-profit test publication companies because we promise to provide test materials to contributors for free.
The test instrument that we developed is called the Global Neuropsychological Assessment (GNA). It is a brief neuropsychological test battery that does not require literacy. There are four parallel forms of the GNA, making it useful for repeat testing and randomized clinical trials. We welcome contributors who want to help (1) translate GNA into any language, (2) collect standardized norms in any language/country, or (3) provide material or technical support for this work.
Complementing GNA is a related project called the International Neuropsychological Normative Database Initiative or INNDI (http://inndi.org/). This affiliated project is developing norms for a broad range of existing neuropsychological tests.
